Secondary Trading

TFS launched live screen trading of Secondary CERs at the end of March 2007, and this market has continued to grow from strength to strength as more market participants understand the dynamics of guaranteed CERs traded by credit-rated counterparties.

Live screen prices are quoted for Secondary CERs as fixed price in €, with delivery on the 1st of December of the vintage, subject to the condition that if there is no delivery path due to non availability of ITL/Article 17, then delivery is delayed until this is possible.

TFS issues a weekly price sheet on Secondary CER prices for different structures, current and historical pricing is available for download here.
